Into Civvy Street

I may have begun life as a civilian, with no reasonable idea of what I wanted to do, except that I needed to stop being Corporal Lowe, who belonged to Mrs Windsor & become a free agent, with no number and my title to Mister.

Sure, I'd miss the long conversations we had on a night bind and all those lovely aircraft (not that I'd seen any for seven years). Now I was married with kids and I needed to get on with real life.
